The Seventh Win in the Public Procurement Category

Date: 17/04/2019

The EPRAVO Group s. r. o. publishing house, in cooperation with TREND weekly magazine, announced the 2019 winners of the 7th edition of the prestigious Law Firm of the Year contest yesterday. RUŽIČKA AND PARTNERS law firm was once again, for the seventh consecutive time, awarded the top prize in the Public Procurement category.

The results of the seventh edition of the Law Firm of the Year contest were announced in Bratislava yesterday, April 16, 2019, at the ceremony held at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. The contest is aimed at providing the necessary orientation in key legal areas to players in the local market. This year, contest organisers awarded prizes in thirteen expert categories as well as a special prize in Pro Bono category and two main prizes. RUŽIČKA AND PARTNERS law firm has managed to defend its leading position and has achieved leadership in the Public Procurement category for the seventh consecutive time, a truly respectable achievement. In eight other expert categories RUŽIČKA AND PARTNERS have been ranked among the very recommended law firms and in the remaining four among the recommended law firms.

JUDr. Jaroslav Ružička, PhD., the Office's Managing partner expressed his delight with the award: „We greatly appreciate this award, as well as the overall excellent appraisal of our work echoed by the results of the Law Firm of the Year contest. We take pride in the fact that aside from the business achievements gained during our over 25 year-long activity on the market, our professional effort and intensive work in the area of public procurement, as well as in other legal practice areas and sectors, is reflected in the independent assessment conducted by domestic and foreign experts alike.”

„Public procurement provides a gateway to the acquisition of goods, services or construction works by the public sector, and is closely tied to the strategic needs of the state. At the end of this procurement process, results can be seen, whether they are in the form of new or renovated infrastructure or other such tangible project. This is what sets the law of public procurement apart from a large number of other legal areas. Our effort culminates in a result available to serve the public for years to come. This is the very reason why we are especially pleased with the award in this category.”, adds JUDr. Ján Azud, partner of RUŽIČKA AND PARTNERS responsible for the public procurement practice.
